If you are going from an iPhone to an Android phone and want to keep your contact here is how you do it. You will need to have iTunes on your computer. If you don’t have it then you can download it for free.
- Make sure your Android phone is lined with your Google account. To do this go to Menu > Settings > Accounts & Sync. Your Google account will be listed if it’s already linked to your phone.
- Connect your iPhone to computers and open iTunes
- Select your iPhone in iTunes the n click the “Info” Tab at the top. Check the ‘Sync Address Book Contacts’ box, then check ‘Sync contacts with Google Contacts’
- Click “Configure” and select the correct Google account that is on your Android phone
- After you hit “Apply” your iPhone will back-up your contacts in your Google Account.
Here is how to get your contacts from you Android phone to an iPhone.
- Go to Settings > Mail, Contacts, Calendars
- Select Add Account
- Select Microsoft Exchange
- Enter you complete Gmail address in the Email field. Leave the Domain field blank. Next enter your Gmail username and password.
- In the server section type “m.google.com” If you receive an Unable to verify message just click cancel to ignore.
