iMac computers have been around since the 1990’s. They have continually pushed the boundaries of technology for desktops  computers. They have removed a glass covering so the display is right up against the screen. This process is called plasma deposition and its atomically small and helps reduce reflectivity and enhances colors and becomes more vibrant. The computer looks great and from all perspectives.  The calibration process is very unique as well and adapts to natural and true-life colors.  They use three steps to complete this process,  spectroradiometers: one to measure gamma, one to measure white point, and one to check the work of the other two. This new process reduces the reflectivity by 75% and with the display directly against the glass it makes the vivid, LED, backlighted images jump off the screen. It looks fantastic just looking at pictures of it.

 

This new iMac is better in almost every way then most computers coming out today. Even environmentally it has been upgraded scoring impressively. Its uses 50% less power in idle mode than previous models, it’s made of popular recyclable materials such as aluminum and glass and doesn’t include a lot of the toxins that come in other desktop models.

 

This computer is faster in more ways than one . The images are stronger like in all iMacs but this is 60% faster then the rest due to NVIDIA‘s, Kepler graphics. The key to this success of this new iMac, is the new processor(s).That’s right you can have a choice of processors. There is a standard i5 core processor which runs at 3.23.2GHz and then there is a i7 core processor that runs at 3.4GHz, and here is boost to make it run up to 3.9GHZ.
