The fourth generation iPad or more commonly known as the iPhone 4 is the newest of all the regular iPads. There is a newer one, but it is an iPad Mini which is in a different category for iPads. The iPad 4 is very similar to the iPad 3, but some things have changed.

 

A big change with the iPad 4 from previous iPad is the Retina Display.  It provides the device with better visual quality and enhances all graphics and texts. The iPad visually doesn’t look to different from the iPad 3 but its what’s inside that counts. It has a camera with 1.3 megapixels and 720p video, and upgraded the cellular chipset to support

 
The most impressive part of the iPad comes from its hard ware and software under its sleek shell. The processor has 32nm CMOS dual-core Apple CPU — called Swift. Then they cranked it up to 1.4 GHz for the iPad 4.international LTE 4G networking.

 

 

The iPad 3 software was the basis for the iPad 4, but upgraded like the quad-core PowerVR SGX554MP4. They still go with the 1 Gb of RAM and they offer all the flash memory as before.

 

It’s not a huge improvement from the iPad 3 and doesn’t look very different at all. Those who use it can see some of the small changes that were made internally. It’s a good product just like the previous products.
