Jelly Bean VS iOS6

For a number of years now Android and Apple have been competing against each other for king of the mountain. I say king of the mountain because it refers to the idea of how each of these companies claim to be the best.

Apple iOS6 claims to be the most sophisticated and elite operating system. IPhone does have a really good app selection. The apps for iOS6 devices are necessarily better, it’s just that they primarily are made first for iOS because it’s the more popular and easier interface.  IPhones also rule the music and video world with thanks to iTunes. A lot of people prefer iPhones over Android, but iPhone only has one phone and each of them are very similar to the previous model.  iOS6  also uses the same styling of icons as before and the voice dictation has not improved much.

Android Jelly Bean has made a name for itself in competing with Apple.  Android phones are spread very wide and Jelly Bean is the latest operating system for them. There are hundreds of models  for Android which gives people multiple options for using Jelly Bean. Google partnered with Android providing Google Play which is an app store and its catching up to Apple’s.  Jelly Bean allows you to do a lot of unique things with the phone, but the new system takes a while getting used to. Anew feature for Jelly Bean is that you can see your email from the drop down and respond to it from there.  Jelly Bean also gives a very sleek look to the display icons and provides smooth transitioning’s between screens. The voice dictation for Android Jelly Bean is very fast and nothing can beat its accuracy.

Both operating systems are good and basically comes down to individual preference.  At CNET they compared the two operating systems together and the winner by .1 point was Jelly Bean.  That doesn’t make it the best and some could argue that iOS6 is the best, but I happen to agree with CNET because I am an Android fan.
