What are the Microsoft Surface Pro Specs?

Microsoft Surface, surfaced earlier this year with the RT version of this lap top/ tablet device. The MS Surface pro has been pushed back to a new release date of February 9th, but will come with enhanced features.

One of the biggest feature and highly liked by consumers will be the that the Pro version of the Surface will run Windows 8 Pro operating System which will allow you to use legacy apps, the RT surface would only run windows 8. This solves the problem for the few apps that the Surface RT has.

The Surface Pro is a bit bigger and clunkier than the RT, but for good reason. It has an i5 core processor and is ½ inch thick and about 2 lbs. The battery life is shortened to about 5 hrs. It seems like all negative things but since it is so much bigger it comes with better insides. It includes 4 Gigs of RAM and 1920×1080 HD display.

The Pro has also added a brand new feature to this line of products. MS Surface Pro supports a “pressure-sensitive stylus for writing, illustrating and designing by hand.” Every Pro Surface will come with this feature.

They will first offer the MS Surface Pro with 64GB and 128GB for $899 and $999. The snap on key board does not come with this package. It is optional, but recommended that you include it while purchasing which will be $100 extra.

The Microsoft Surface Pro is pricier than the RT, but it is greatly enhanced and delivers the features that people have wanted. This is said to be on the market by February 9, but things are known to change when new tech is being released.
