  • FACEBOOK: Another obvious contender! With 845 million active users and many iPhone users among them, it is not surprising that it has been downloaded on 350 million iPhones. With this app, it is easier for Facebook users to stay connected on the go!
  • iBOOKS: Using this app, download your favorite books from the iBookstore, which has about 700,000 books. Easy to flip through pages, look up words in the dictionary and make notes, this app has had 235 million downloads!
  • SKYPE: With Skype downloaded on your iPhone, you can now make free calls to another Skype user or call someone on their phone with Skype credit, as long as you are connected to Wi-Fi! This app has been downloaded on 230 million devices.
  • TALKING TOM: People must really like having a cat copy everything they say, because that is precisely what this app does and guess what? Over 200 million people have downloaded it!
  • TWITTER: Twitter for iPhone is said to be the third most popular way to access twitter (After twitter.com and mobile.twitter.com). A whooping 160 million users have downloaded it!
  • SHAZAM: This is an interesting app for music lovers. This app can identify songs by the sound; has quick links to iTunes and YouTube and lets you share songs through e-mail. 150 million users have downloaded this app.
  • GOOGLE MAPS: Now this is something most people can’t do without! You can use this app to find local businesses, addresses as well as driving directions! It tells you 3 different routes to get to your destination and exactly how much time it’ll take. This handy app has been downloaded on 105 million devices.
