  • I can’t live without the travel apps on my iPhone. Priceline app on my iPhone has some kind of promotion all the time. The iOS apps by the airlines ( United/Delta/Southwest) lets me travel paper free with the boarding pass directly scanned on my iPhone! How cool is that? I don’t have to call my hotel reception asking whee I could print my boarding pass anymore! I love smart phone apps!

  • That is the beauty of it. The glorious world of technology and mobile devices continue to make life easier.

  • “dhahn” I’m right there with you! Not so long ago it took people three generations to go from coast to coast across the USA in covered wagon. Now we can zip back and forth in a couple hours and watch TV while we do it! There is no better time to be alive, in my opinion, especially if you’re a traveler, and apps like these have come a long way even in the last couple years. My favorite app is this remote access app I got through my work at Dish. It allows me to watch anything I want off my home receiver as long as I can get a 3G or wifi connection. I love it when I’m stuck at the airport during a layover or delay, and it’s the best for jetlag!

  • Yeah they are fantastic! I would love to start to travel more. One day your going to be able to just speak into the phone and say I want this, this , this and this, and I want to go to this place for this price and it will come up with options how cool would that be! You would literally get to sit back and let your device do all the work for you.
