iPhone 5 and iOS6 problems

Pre-ordering for the iPhone 5, which has the iOS6 operating system in it, has been happening for about a week now. The official release of the iPhone 5 is this weekend and people are ready and more than willing to wait for what they think is a great item.  Why do people think the iPhone 5 is so great? Here some reasons why it’s not all it’s cracked up to be.

Apple has run into a few snags with their new iPhone 5.  They have done away with Google maps saying that they can create one just as well or better than Google has. I think not! Apple map app is very flawed and consumers aren’t happy with it and want the old back. The map app is making features like the Brooklyn Bridge look like a twisted mess and the Grand Canyon look like and island. In Europe people are finding out that their countries and cities are either not on the map, not spelled correctly or the names have been completely changed. The iOS maps also lack any details.  Another issue was initially logging into Wi-Fi local areas, but that problem is fixed now. These are just a few of the problems with the iOS6.

People are camped out waiting to get their new iPhone 5. I am not sure why they are camping for a product with so many flaws.  The stores last night were being surrounded by dozens of crazed iPhone fans. The people that pre-ordered thought they were being clever, but even some pre-orders are backed up into next month. A friend of mine, who is die hard iPhone lover, said that the Galaxy S III is still better than the iPhone 5 in many ways. The Camera is better quality and has a faster shutter speed, the screen is bigger, the display is better, and it’s about the same thickness. He said that if you compare the Galaxy to the iPhone 5, Galaxy III beets the iPhone. He says the features that are offered are way cooler to. The instant file and picture sharing by touching phones is one of the most popular. I can’t see why people are making such a big deal out of the iPhone. The technology is nothing to newer than what is currently out by competitors.

Both phones and companies are great. They will always fighting for the newer and the better. Right now I would have to give my hats off to the Galaxy III. Maybe the iPhone 6 will actually stay current on trends and what is wanted by the public.  Be sure to do your homework before buying anything and hopefully this helps some.
