What Features does Microsoft Surface Have?

Looking for technology that is new and exciting? Well Microsoft Surface gives you a bunch of great features rolled into one device.  Microsoft has come up with a lap top/ tablet that is used for business and for pleasure.

 

Microsoft Surface is a made of Magnesium alloy that is lighter than aluminum and combined with a thin device it makes this device feel incredibly light and mobile. It as an anti-finger print coating that helps keep the surface looking brilliant. The screen is 16:9 which is great for watching movies and shows. Flash videos don’t seem to work as well as the HTLM videos.

 

Surface as 2 cameras that are installed in the front and in the back of the device.  It allows you to be completely hands free. The Kick stand pops out from the back and holds up your device while you watch your favorite programs. Surface is an entertainment haven. There are 2 separate keyboards that are available for the Surface. One is a thin, light and colorful, spill resistant keyboard that is pressure sensitive and has a track pad for your navigating purposes. The other is more of the standard key board that snaps into position via the magnet strip on the Surface.  Both act as protective covers and shut off the device when closed.

 

 

There are all the usual connections that you would get in a standard laptop and Tablet. There is a micro HDMi port and has a USB port as well. As well as a volume rocker and headphone jack.  It has a 7 Gb memory that is backed up in the SkyDrive Cloud.  It allows access to all your favorite media and apps.  You can swipe from the top and get a menu, swipe from the left side and browse through your apps,  and swipe from the right and go to the next page.  It works with Xbox to get all the media you already want and have.

 

If you are looking for a cross between a lap top and a table then this is the device for you. It has all the features of a tablet and with great functionality like the iPad. Its touch screen and key boards allow you to convert it to either a viewing station or a working area. This is the first step into the direction of mobile devices taking over the responsibilities of home computers and old bulky lap-tops.
